Enhance your decision-making resiliency and move into integrity and whole living. This four-part series of 75-minute workshops introduces you to Ignatian discernment as a valuable process for making better decisions when faced with significant or everyday choices. The workshops emphasize the importance of understanding personal values, the people who matter, connections with the Divine, and knowing when to say “yes,” “no,” or “not yet.”

In this workshop, you will learn ways to develop value-based decision making. Through a series of activities, you will reflect on key moments over this past year in your personal and professional lives and identify the patterns and themes that emerge from them. Then, you will explore how those key moments shape your values, what new values you hold, and what, if any, values you need to let go of.

Illustrating Your Discernment Journey: Pathways of Insight
Description
Discernment is an intentional, lifelong process of determining what brings you closer to integrity, authenticity, and fullness. We will use two activities to visualize the discernment journey. Discernment Maps focus on identifying roadblocks, opportunities, and next steps. Shimmer Stories identify stories that allure, or shimmer, for us. Attuning to what shimmers in someone else’s story teaches us about who we are. Retreatants will be guided by the discernment principles of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
This workshop is open to the public and will be hosted at the Siena Retreat Center in Racine, WI.
Registration is $75 and includes lunch.
